Winemaker Notes: " La Colina Vineyard is a vineyard I have always referred to as “secret sauce.” In my former winemaking life I was creating much larger Dundee Hills Pinot Noir blends for the national market. Year after year the barrels I selected to do a single vineyard "La Colina Pinot Noir" were sacrificed into the blend, it always elevated the wine in such a positive way it had to be done. This is a classic Dundee Hills site and is farmed by my friend George Hillberry. When I started this new project I was fortunate that George had a small block left, and it beautifully complements my other Dundee Hills Pinot Noir wines. We have 1 acre of the Pommard clone. This wine made from the Pommard block 3 gives the classic dusty cherry aromas and a spicy finish." - Jay Somers

Tasting Notes: This wine is beauty in a glass. It is refined and elegant with a great mix of fruit and earth tones. La Colina Pinot Noir is drinking superb now and will only get better with age.

(Cellar Selection) Wow. Raspberry chewing gum, rose petals and popped sweetcorn aromas are quite the introduction. There's a nice bit of acidity here, but this medium-bodied wine's hefty tannins have yet to unwind. Black cherry and black tea flavors are powerful, with a slightly chewy texture. Enjoy 2024-2034.

This opens with black cherry fruit and highlights of roasted coffee beans. There’s a youthful sharpness to the mid-palate, and then a fade into darker phenolic flavors of seed and scorched earth, black olive and slightly bitter tannins.
