Clovis Ochin (1.5 L) 2023 'Ludo' Macabeo, Penedes

Made from 100% Macabeo grown in Penedès, this wine showcases the purity, freshness, and subtle aromatic character of one of Catalunya's classic native grape varieties. Produced with a minimal intervention philosophy, it highlights the energy and transparency that define Clovis Ochin's wines.

The grapes undergo whole cluster fermentation with seven days of maceration before being transferred to glass dame-jeannes for aging. A portion of the juice is retained in tank and used for weekly topping, protecting the wine naturally from oxidation throughout élevage. Bottled without fining, filtration, or added sulfur, the wine offers a lively and authentic expression of Macabeo and the distinctive terroir of Penedès.
