Wine Notes: Made from Riesling, Gewurztraminer, Pinot Blanc, and Pinot Gris, this blend displays notes of pink grapefruit and SweeTarts with refreshing acidity. The grapes are grown and picked together for this field blend. They are whole cluster pressed before a slow and cold fermentation in stainless steel. The cool temperatures helps capture the fresh fruit aromas. Mixtape is bottled with residual sugar (~9 grams), which adds a touch of sweetness to this off-dry crowd-pleasing white wine.
About the Name: The Laing brothers remember making mixtapes of carefully arranged tracks meant to convey a specific message to the listener. So too, their wine Mixtape was made to capture the idea that the whole is greater than the sum of its parts.
