Domaine Milan 2021 'Le Vallon' Rouge, Vin de France (Provence)

About the Wine: This wine is called "Le Vallon" because the vines are in a small valley at the foothills of Les Alpilles. It's a blend of Grenache Noir, Syrah, Nielluccio that comes from a plateau of clay with sand and galet stones. Nielluccio has high acidity and grows really well in these soils and climate, and acts as a great blending wine. Le Vallon is a people pleasing, medium body, light in style, gulpable wine that pairs well with fish, meat, or roasted veggies.

Winemaking Notes: In concrete tank, the grapes are co-macerated for three days. The wine rests in tank for one year before bottling. 2021 was a small, but high quality vintage due to the frost in late Spring.
