Vineyard Notes: The Valvin Muscat comes from Crystal Vista Vineyards, owned by Mike and Darlene Heuser, outside of Interlochen. Valvin Muscat is a hybrid cross between Muscat Ottonel (Vitis vinifera) and hybrid Muscat du Moulin (Couderc 299-35). It is a winter hardy hybrid perfect for the Northern Michigan terroir. The Pinot Blanc comes from Old Mission Peninsula.

Winemaking Notes: Cold fermentation. Grapes fermented dry, followed by a light filtration. Minimal intervention.

Tasting Notes: The Valvin is aromatic while the Pinot Blanc gives it structure. This sparkling is extremely quaffable with light bubbles and acidity. It is a highly aromatic sparkling with lovely floral notes, jasmine, clementine skin, and hints of spice.
