Vineyard Notes: Grapes come from Viña Ilusión's certified organic estate vineyards. Although they are located at a bit of a high altitude, around 600-700 meters, the influence of the Cidacos Valley and the microclimate of this area allow them to grow Mediterranean plants such as olive and almond trees as well as their vineyards. On top of being organically certified, they also borrow practices from permaculture and biodynamics in their vineyards.

Winemaking Notes: Grapes are manually harvested, 100% destemmed, and fermented with native yeasts in stainless steel tanks. No oak is used in Viña Ilusión's cellar in an effort to preserve the freshness and true character of the Tempranillo. After a few months of aging, the wine is bottled with very minimal amounts of added sulfites.
