    Sorelle Bronca is one of my all-time favorite producers in the land of Italy's festive sparklers. The 2021 Valdobbiadene Prosecco Superiore Rive di Farro Particella 232 Extra Brut opens to a thin and light appearance with easy aromas of wild sage, lime, rock salt and crushed stone. Extra Brut is always a steely, tonic and dry expression, and that's what you get here.

    Dusty and floral, the 2022 Extra Brut Valdobbiadene Prosecco Superiore Particella 232 slowly blossoms with a bouquet of wild flowers and wet stones giving way to freshly sliced peach. This is creamy, smooth and elegant in feel, with a plush wave of bubbles ushering in ripe orchard fruits. Sour citrus notes tug at the palate as the 2022 finishes long and staining with a saline tinge that calls the taster back to the glass.
