Through site selection and non-interventionist winemaking, the interplay between the broad flavors of the Pommard block and the edgy components of the 777 block bring a style that expresses both the traditional and modern of Santa Barbara Pinot Noir. The wine is made up of 33% Dijon 777 planted in shallow soil and 67% Pommard of older vines planted on a gentle slope. Grapes are 100% destemmed.

Tasting Notes: Savory and aromatic, the Varner Pinot Noir shows crushed flowers, sweet tobacco, dried cherries, and mint.
