Domaine Vincey is a family domaine in Oger, in the Côte des Blancs, run by Quentin Vincey and Marine Zabarino. Quentin is the eighth generation of his family to farm in Oger, and the family’s vineyards were historically sold to the local cooperative. Since 2014, Quentin and Marine have been making their own Champagne from selected family parcels. They farm about 7 to 8 hectares, with most of the vines in Oger and additional holdings in Le Mesnil sur Oger, Chouilly and Vertus. Chardonnay makes up the majority of the vineyards, including old vines planted through massale selection. The vineyards are certified organic and Demeter biodynamic.

The couple separates their parcels rather than blending everything together, allowing the different sites to be followed through the cellar. Grapes are pressed in a traditional basket press and the must moves into the cellar by gravity. Fermentation is spontaneous and the wines are raised in French oak, with some barrels developing flor naturally. There is no fixed recipe for malo, as the wines are allowed to develop according to the vintage and the individual cask. The Champagnes spend extended time on their lees before disgorgement, with many of the cuvées released as Brut Nature or with very low dosage. The range includes wines from individual parcels in Oger and Le Mesnil sur Oger, as well as Coteaux Champenois.
