MUYU Liqueurs were created by world-renowned bartenders Alex Kratena, Monica Berg, and Simone Caporale in collaboration with De Kuyper Royal Distillers. Launched in 2019, the trio developed three distinct, modern liqueurs—Jasmine Verte, Chinotto Nero, and Vetiver Gris.

The Trio: Alex Kratena (formerly of Artesian, London), Monica Berg (known for her work in Scandinavian mixology), and Simone Caporale (formerly of Artesian, London).

Thesis: “MUYU is a modern liqueur. Each product begins with the precious extraction of a single note, after which the secondary sequences of extraordinary ingredients are wrapped around each note to create a completely developed and complex liqueur. At MUYU, we formulate liquids with a specific opinion on flavor to convey concepts of individual ingredients.”

The Liqueurs:

Jasmine Verte (Monica Berg): Floral, featuring jasmine, yuzu, and patchouli.

Chinotto Nero (Simone Caporale): Citrusy, featuring chinotto, cacao, and oak moss.

Vetiver Gris (Alex Kratena): Earthy and woody, featuring vetiver, cedarwood, and timur.
