Vineyard Notes: The vineyards are located in the hills of Loreto Aprutino, a beautiful hamlet of uncontained nature nestled between the Gran Sasso (national park of Abruzzo) and the pristine Adriatic Sea and seaside town of Pescara.

The vineyards' lie between 250 and 350 meters above sea level. The soils are mostly clay with a large presence of limestone and sand. Here, Montepulciano thrives, benefitting from the vineyards' primestone and sand. Montepulicano thrives here.

Winemaking Notes: The wine is fermented with the skins in stainless steel for 10 days followed by maturation for 4 months in 34 hectoliter neutral French Oak casks.

Tasting Notes: A deep, dark ruby hue that commands attention. The noes reveals chocolate, and teh dark sweetness of ripe black currants. On the palate, black cherry and plum, each framed by a touch of vanilla. The finish is persistent, a slow ebb of fruit and spice.
