Tasting Notes: A field blend of five different clones of Merlot contributes to the elegance of this wine. The dark blackberry and black cherry nose leads to similar flavors and a silky body with notes of baker’s chocolate in the finish. It is boisterous and friendly and just plain good in the glass right now, but will also emerge from a short nap in the cellar with an increased complexity of its more earthy, woodsy flavors.
