Luna Duna 2025 'Naranjo' Skin Contact Moscatel, San Martin

Vineyard Notes: Grapes come from the Familia Morcos estate vineyards in San Martin, located around 2,000 feet above sea level and planted to sandy soils. These Moscatel vines were planted in 1940 and are pergola trained. The vineyard is farmed very sustainably with very little vineyard work. The desert dunes in Mendoza, with very high temperatures on summer afternoons, act as a natural antibacterial environment and they are able to not use pesticides or herbicides.

Winemaking Notes: Grapes are 100% destemmed and spontaneously ferment with the native yeasts. The juice remains in contact with the skins during the entire 12 day fermentation. The wine is aged in concrete cubes for 8 months before being bottled unfiltered. Only small amounts of sulfur are added.
