Winemaking Notes: The grapes macerate for 7 days in a semi-carbonic state. Spontaneous fermentation takes place in a 3000-liter unlined cement egg with 25% whole clusters. After fermentation, half the wine ages in cement eggs and the other half in French oak barrels with 50% lees contact.
Tasting Notes: The nose is vibrant showing red cherry, raspberry, sage, thyme, and black pepper that leads into a light mid palate with hints of cinnamon, brown sugar, and a sprinkle of lemon balm. Bright finish with lingering red fruit.

"Ver Sacrum specializes in wines made from Rhône varieties in the Mendoza region of Argentina. Argentine garnacha? This wine, from a high-altitude vineyard in the Uco Valley, will not remind anybody of Châteauneuf-du-Pape. It’s not weighty, but light, bright, fresh and juicy."
