Imakoko is produced in Nagano on the island of Honshu, somewhat of a rarity as a vast majority of shochu distillation in Japan occurs on Kyushu. Imakoko Mugi is a single distilled barley shochu. It is delicate and refreshing with subtle aromatics. Food friendly, crisp, smooth, and extremely mellow.
