Vineyard Notes: Fruit is sourced from 35 to 115-year-old, gobelet trained vines in the La Nerthe, Blaquiers, Chemin de Sorgues, Font du Pape, Nalys, Saint Georges, Cabrières, and Pieds de Bauds lieux-dits in Châteauneuf-du-Pape. Harvest is entirely manual, usually in late September to early October.

Winemaking Notes: The classic red of the domaine accounts for approximately 85% of the annual production of the estate. Following 10% destemming, the grapes ferment spontaneously in 70% concrete vats and 30% stainless steel tanks. Cuvaison lasts 20-25 days. Grapes are pressed in a vertical basket press. The wine ages for 24 months in neutral oak foudres and is bottled without fining or filtration.

Tasting Notes: The fruit is perfectly in balance with the textural elements, showing typical dark fruit notes with discernible energy and liveliness. Its slighty sauvage character and firm structural backbone is leavened by its exceptional breed.
