Tamarico is crafted with the sweet and spicy flavors of Mexico’s most popular treats: tamarind, chile peppers, and chamoy.

A new entry into the stagnant market of shooter liqueurs, Tamarico is destined to appeal to not only Hispanic consumers, but a broad array of consumers seeking a differentiated and more diverse alternative to products like Fireball. Tamarico is made from an array of natural flavors selected to emulate the most popular candies in Mexico. Flavors include tamarind, guajillo chile, fruity and spicy chamoy, and lime.

Tamarico tastes fantastic on its own as a shot, as a sidecar with beer, and as a cocktail mixer. While excellent neat, its flavors are significantly enhanced when served with a bit of Tajin first, or with a bit of chamoy on the rim of the glass followed by Tajin. It is sweet, spicy and tangy but not overly hot like Fireball. Instead it leaves a lingering midpalate heat from the chili peppers. Not overly sweet, Tamarico (6.6g per 1.5oz) has significantly less sugar than Fireball (11g per 1.5oz serving).

Tamarico Cocktail Recipes

  • Tamarind Twister // A tropical twist on Tamarico, featuring coconut water and pineapple juice for a refreshing island vibe. Just blend Tamarico with coconut water and pineapple juice over crushed ice and garnish with a pineapple slice. Voila!
  • Tamarind Tango Margarita // A zesty fusion of Tamarico with classic margarita ingredients, creating a perfect balance of sweet, sour, and spicy flavors. Rim the glass with Tajin. Shake Tamarico, tequila, lime juice, and agave syrup with ice. Strain into the prepared glass.
  • Spicy Chamoy Paloma // A tantalizing cocktail that combines the sweetness of Tamarico with the tartness of grapefruit, topped with a spicy chamoy rim. Start by rimming the glass with chamoy and Tajin. Combine Tamarico, grapefruit juice and lime juice. Top with sparkling water and garnish with citrus.
  • Chili Sunset Sangria // A refreshing sangris blending Tamarico's unique flavors with red wine, creating a fruity and slightly spicy delight. Mix Tamarico with red wine and orange juice. Add sliced fruits and a sprinkle of chili powder. Chill before servicing.
