Vineyard Notes: Grapes come from a biodynamically farmed vineyard of Sumoll planted in 1939 on sandy clay soils at an elevation of 220-310 meters.
Winemaking Notes: Grapes are harvested by hand and undergo carbonic maceration for 20 days without stems in stainless steel tanks. Final fermentation and aging takes place in used 225 and 330 liter French oak and local chestnut barrels (60%), 500 and 600 liter foudres (20%), and 300 liter amphorae (20%). Wine is aged in bottle for a minimum of 24 months. Bottled unfined, unfiltered, and with zero added SO2.
