Vineyard Notes: The vineyards for this lovely red Bordeaux are at the base of the hillside vineyards of the estate in the village of Sainte-Croix-du-Mont and are composed of limestone and clay. The grape varieties are Merlot and Cabernet Sauvignon with the average vine age around 32 years.

Winemaking Notes:  The wine ferments with native yeast and ages in temperature-controlled vats. Malolactic fermentation occurs in tank. The wine matures in stainless steel and about 10% in oak barrel. It is bottled after 18 months.
