Winemaking Notes: Fruit is harvested by hand from biodynamically farmed vines. Dornfelder and Portugieser undergo a short skin maceration and are pressed. Fermentation occurs spontaneously in fiberglass with indigenous yeast. The Schmitt Frei Korper Kultur rosé is aged in fiberglass and bottled without fining or filtration.

Tasting Notes: Bianka and Daniel Schmitt's low intervention wines are pure and fresh, full of personality and life. This rosé of Portugieser and Dornfelder is no exception. Notes of fresh red berries, wild strawberries, and peaches with a hint of citrus lend a zippy acidity. One liter won't be enough!
