Clovis Ochin 2023 'Merci Papa' Bobal Garnacha, Valencia

Sourced from an old vineyard in Utiel-Requena, Valencia, this blend of Bobal and Garnacha showcases the freshness, vitality, and drinkability that define Clovis Ochin's wines. The vineyard was formerly farmed by Partida Creus and is planted to old vines that deliver concentration, balance, and a strong sense of place.

The grapes are fermented whole cluster and macerated for seven days before being transferred to glass dame-jeannes for aging. A portion of the juice is retained in tank and used for weekly topping, protecting the wine naturally from oxidation throughout élevage. Bottled without fining, filtration, or added sulfur, the wine offers a pure and energetic expression of these two Mediterranean varieties and the historic vineyards of Utiel-Requena.
