Vineyard Notes: Grapes for the Zorzal Terroir Unico Malbec are sourced from multiple vineyards in the Uco Valley.

Winemaking Notes: Grapes are manually harvested a little earlier than most in Mendoza to retain freshness and acidity. The Malbec goes through malolactic fermentation and is aged in concrete tanks. Only indigenous yeast are used.

Tasting Notes: The wine predominantly shows notes of coffee, blueberry, and chocolate with secondary notes of licorice, black cherry, cinnamon, baking spices, and sage. The complexity of the wine extends into the palate; it is big and bold with juicy tannins and light acidity. The wine finishes extremely strong with flavors of plum, cassis, and doughnut cake. A wine that out delivers it’s price by tenfold!

One of the best price-quality ratios for Malbec on the market, it comes mainly from its own vineyards, the vines that Zorzal began planting around 2013 in the Gualtallary area, towards the north of the Uco Valley. It is pure ripe red fruits and flowers, soft texture, light and fruity body; ideal to take to the barbecue or to celebrate a pizza Saturday.
