They will make sure that this vineyard, with its mix of old vines and new, has a bright future. In addition, there is Morgan Twain Peterson, who has conceived and executed the plan to replant to varieties that are the future. Morgan likes to say, 'It takes a village.' Soil and Climate: Tuscan and Red Hill series soil, a cobbly loam washed down from Mayacamas mountain range millions of years ago. Cool air flows from the Bennet Valley Gap next to Sonoma Mountain, creating a cooling effect against warm, long summer days.

Tasting Notes: The 2020 Bedrock Zinfandel is a pure expression of the Agua Caliente bench in Sonoma Valley. It is both elegant and powerful, expressing bright black raspberry notes mingled with an alluring spicy perfume. It is lifted and fresh on the palate with a very agreeable, long-lasting, finely structured finish. Refined with balanced intensity, this wine is built to evolve over the long term.
