Vineyard Notes: This 5-acre vineyard was planted at the north end of Old Mission Peninsula in 1999. It has a perfect southern slope of sandy loam soils which gets intense sun exposure all day. For this reason, the vineyard typically ripens early with strong acidity. These old vines have dug their roots deep into the earth, and it shows in the wine.

Wine Notes: This is Left Foot Charley's second late harvest style Riesling from Seventh Hill Farm. This vineyard offers the perfect opportunity to showcase the beauty of natural sugar with the zippy acidity found in Riesling. 2020 was a vintage with a warm summer and moderately cool fall. Fermentation was stopped to highlight the unctuous fruit and give you a chance to enjoy the opulence of a fully ripe Riesling.
