Location: Etsu Double Yuzu Gin is distilled at the Akita Distillery, in the Akita prefecture of Japan. Akita Prefecture is located on the coast of the Sea of Japan and extends east to the Ōu Mountains, the longest mountain range in Japan. It is these mountains that give Etsu Double Yuzu its fresh and light aromas.

Process: Etsu Double Yuzu Gin starts with a 7-day maceration using traditional botanicals such as Japanese Yuzu, juniper berries, licorice root, angelica, coriander, and matcha. After maceration, the gin is distilled without the botanicals, which allows the oils to infuse. Only after the distillation process is fresh water from the mountain source added, giving this gin a lively and crisp taste.

Tasting Notes: Etsu Double Yuzu Gin is a unique Japanese gin showcasing fresh yuzu and lemon citrus notes.
