Vineyard Notes: The Garnier Vineyard is located in the Columbia Gorge AVA on the Oregon side near the town of Mosier. It overlooks the scenic Columbia River. The vineyard’s proximity to the Columbia River and low elevation provide valuable added heat units during the growing season and frost protection during winter. Gorge winds provide excellent ventilation. From Jay Somers: "I have been working with Tom Garnier and this super interesting vineyard site in the Columbia Gorge AVA near the town of Mosier since the early 2000's. If you ever had my Rosé wines form my previous winery you know this vineyard well."

Winemaking Notes: This Viognier was fermented and aged in 600-liter Acacia and 228-liter French barrels for a little less than one year. Malolactic fermentation was stopped to preserve acidity and transparency.

Tasting Notes: Showing floral and spice-driven aromatics and tangerine notes on the palate, this is a fun and versatile wine.
