Winemaking Notes: Grapes were harvested by hand from 16-year-old Grenache Noir vines. Fruit was destemmed but not crushed. Punch downs occurred twice daily. Fermentation occurred spontaneously in open top bins and pressed to tank. The wine was left on the lees for seven months until bottling. A minimal amount of sulfites was added at bottling.

Tasting Notes: A hint of springtime California chaparral shows on the nose. The mouthful is both light and bright, with abundant notes of raspberry, dark cherry and pepper that fill the mouth with a mild grip. The finish is both serious and long.
