Vineyard Notes: Roditis grapes are harvested by hand from 40 year old, organically farmed vines.

Winemaking Notes: Spontaneous fermentation occurs separately in old oak with indigenous yeasts. The wine is aged in old oak barrels and is bottled without fining or filtration and with minimal S02 added.

About the Grape: Roditis is a pink-skinned grape variety that is widely planted in Greece. Despite its pink grape color, Roditis is cultivated for the production of white wines—either varietal bottlings or used in blends. Roditis wines are quite terroir-driven as the grape is strongly influenced by where it grows. The best examples come from higher altitudes where there is a significant diurnal temperature shift and poor, well-drained soils.
