Winemaking Notes: All vines are farmed with sustainable methods. Yields are kept low. The Snipes Mountain portion was pressed into 100% new American oak barrels through malolactic fermentation. The Wahluke Slope fruit went through primary and secondary fermentation in neutral barrels. Both portions of the blend matured for 13 months in barrel on the lees. The barrels are periodically topped up but not racked, allowing more lees contact to improve the mouthfeel.
