Vineyard Notes: Grapes are sourced from a single 15-acre vineyard in the Los Chacayes IG in the Uco Valley. The sustainably-farmed vineyard was planted in 2012 at 3600 feet above sea level and is comprised mainly of calcareous river stones.

Winemaking Notes: Wine is aged for 12 months, some sur-lie in concrete cubes and the rest under flor veil in barrel with indigenous yeast. 100% whole cluster stem inclusion.

Tasting Notes: The nose is jumping out of the glass with notes of orange peel, apricot, candied peach, and tangerine all woven together with white flowers, lavender, and a touch of coriander. The palate shows good acidity to match the full body and finishes with honeydew melon and just a hint of flor.

Sexy leesy, honeyed richness to the aromas of apricot, mirabelle, soft citrus fruits, beeswax, flowers and sweet spices, plus a whiff of liquid stone. A plush, fine-grained, surprisingly vibrant midweight, with lovely intensity to its flavors of ripe fruits, roasted grain and minerals. Utterly silky, seamless white wine; plenty ripe but finishes classically dry and gripping, with lovely saline soil tones. This wine comes from a single vineyard. It was fermented with wild yeasts and aged partly in concrete cubes and partly in barrels under a layer of flor. A brightening spine of lemony chalky acidity runs through the wine from start to lingering finish. This wine may become nuttier and more honeyed with a few years of bottle aging but it's delicious right now.
