Enos is produced by Brack Mountain Wine Company. Brack Mountain Wine Company is a family-owned winery dedicated to making artisan, small production wines that offer value to consumers. Enos is Brack Mountain's signature Cabernet Sauvignon-based wine with the strength and fortitude that comes from low-yielding, mineral-rich vineyards in Napa and Sonoma’s high-elevation growing regions.

Brack Mountain Wine Company is located in the Russian River Valley near Sebastopol, California. The company works with small growers, many of them multi-generation farmers, who are dedicated to sustainable practices. Founded in 2008 by Jason Enos and Chris Fitzgerald, Brack Mountain Wine Company immediately took a unique approach to creating wines (creating multiple labels and diversifying their holdings to over 30 long-term vineyard contracts). They source grapes from distinctive vineyard sites across Sonoma County, Napa Valley, Anderson Valley, Santa Lucia Highlands and other cool, coastal regions in California. Since their launch in 2008, Brack Mountain has introduced more than fifteen boutique fine wine brands to select national and international markets.

About the Winemaker
Dan Fitzgerald is Brack Mountain’s founding winemaker. He sets the direction for Brack Mountain’s winemaking and leads the cellar team with John Harley. Both are committed to making elegant, age-worthy wines that reflect their origin source. A Northern California native, Dan lived in Europe for 13 years. This Old World frame of reference developed his affinity for delicately balanced, lower alcohol wines.

Dan began his winemaking career in 2002 in Dry Creek Valley, not far from Brack Mountain’s estate vineyards. Dan worked back-to-back harvests in two hemispheres over three years before going on to earn a bachelor's degree in enology from Fresno State University. Following graduation, Dan worked with Bob Cabral at Williams Selyem Winery in the Russian River Valley. He rounded out his Pinot Noir and Chardonnay winemaking experience by working at James Halliday’s Coldstream Hills Winery in Australia’s Yarra Valley and Robert Sinskey Vineyards in Napa Valley. Before joining Brack Mountain as a partner and director of winemaking, Dan was head winemaker at Pellegrini Family Vineyards.
