Wine on Tap
Cream Wine Company does not view wine on tap as a trend but instead as a real, sustainable solution to providing fresh, delicious, eco-friendly, value-friendly wine to Illinois restaurants and consumers. Wine on tap was added to the portfolio in February of 2011. Cream was the first in Illinois to support this alternative wine packaging (wine in keg) and helped pave the way for its expansion. With its increase in popularity since 2011, many producers with which Cream represents now offer this alternative packaging, enhancing the selection so that wine on tap can be just as unique as a restaurant’s bottle list.
Fresh: No more oxidized wines by the glass or bottle waste.
Value-Friendly: Save 25% compared to the same wine from bottle; eliminate loss from corked bottles and oxidized wines.
Eco-Friendly: Reduce carbon footprint by eliminating packaging with an infinitely reusable container.
Convenient: Kegs take up less space and are easier to handle than 26+ bottles. No need to dispose of empty bottles.
