Winemaking Notes: The grapes for this wine are harvested by hand. The grapes undergo soft pressing and are fermented with indigenous yeast at controlled temperature. Wine spends five months in stainless steel. Toasted seeds are used to give the wine a bit more structure. It matures in bottle for three months.
Tasting Notes: Soft tannins with aromas of cinnamon and dried cherry; bright acidity and a note of minerality. A more or less intense ruby red tending toward burgundy with aging, the Piedirosso Wine’s fragrance is intense and characteristic.
