Proyecto Nakkal 2023 'Nakcool' Blanco, Canelones

Winemaking Notes: Muscat comes from organic vineyards in Rincón del Cerro and Viognier and Ugni come from sustainably managed vineyards in the Colorado area. The three varietals are hand harvested in February and fermented separately. The Muscat goes into maceration with the skins for one week. The other two varieties are fermented with native yeasts in concrete tanks. Wines are eventually blended and bottled, unfined, unfiltered, with zero added SO2.

About Nakcool: Nakcool belongs to the Nat'Cool movement which originated in Portugal and is the brainchild of Dirk Niepoort. This project aims to generate a union between producers of minimal intervention, with the goal of making natural, fun, and affordable wines.
