Winemaking Notes: All of the fruit utilized for the 2017 Skinner Rosé was grown, picked, and pressed for the sole purpose of rosé rather than bleeding off juice in a saignée method. The fruit was pressed after 2 to 6 hours on its skins depending on the varietal, resulting in a light salmon skin hue.
Tasting Notes: The 2017 Skinner Rosé is fresh and bright with classic aromatics of strawberries, white flowers, and watermelon rind, coupled with subtle notes of citrus zest. The wine has laser focus on the palate with ample acidity to work with a variety of dishes.
